1997-98 was a momentous year for the Donegal Education Centre. Initially, operating as a Teacher Study Group for many years and eventually granted full time status in October of 1996. On September 3rd, 1997 Ard Scoil na gCeithre Maistir opened its doors once again, this time to facilitate the offices and administration for the Donegal Education Centre. |

After a few years we moved across town to a more spacious venue - floors 2 & 3 of the newly-built Pier 1 building. Yet, this is still a temporary premises as we are promised and look forward to a purpose-built building of our own in the next few years. |
